Tom Argyle, a Denver native and new Utahn, has been working in the legal industry for over 18 years, in practically every position except attorney.  During his college years in Colorado, he focused on English and philosophy, and leading the crowd at basketball games as Cheer Captain at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs campus (GO MOUNTAIN LIONS).  His first college job was at Holme Roberts and Owen, a large international firm now known as Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner, where he worked as a document clerk in the firm’s internal copy center.  Nearing the end of his college experience, Tom became a legal assistant at Bryan Cave, and developed a taste for the legal industry, continuing his education by obtaining an ABA certified Paralegal Certificate. Tom moved forward, working in legal roles that include e-Discovery Specialist with Wheeler Trigg O’Donnell, Litigation Support Liaison with Marathon Document Solutions, Office Manager and Paralegal with Cohen, LLC, and Litigation Paralegal with Springer and Steinberg, P.C.

During the COVID 19 Pandemic, Tom offered his extensive experience to firms struggling to get folks back into the office, working as a freelance paralegal supporting sole practitioners and small law firms, therefore, practicing in a wide range of areas including family, criminal, personal injury, and insurance defense.  His experience in working through complex discovery issues, particularly as they become interconnected with technology, brings a unique set of skills to the Brian S. King team.

In his free time, Tom enjoys wandering around Utah, collecting aquatic fossils, and is a shark enthusiast.
