Allstate Smacked Again
Yesterday the Kansas City Star carried the story of a large punitive damages verdict against Allstate that was upheld on appeal by the Missouri Court of Appeals. That story also reveals that Allstate settled on undisclosed terms the $25,000 daily fine assessed against it by a trial court in a separate case for Allstate's failure to disclose the McKinsey & Co. documents. Allstate's had a tough go of it on the PR front recently. Karma.
