Go Utes!

My alma mater for both undergraduate and law school degrees is the University of Utah.  I share season tickets with a fellow alum and we've been following the Utes this football season with increasing fervor and anxiety.  They've come within a hair breadth of losing against tough teams on three separate occasions but managed to pull out victories each time.  This afternoon they took their shiny 11-0 record into the last regular season game against arch-rival BYU.  The Cougars had only lost one game themselves.  Fortunately, we were playing at home.  I just got back (the stadium is less than a mile from where I live) after a raucous celebration following the team's 48-24 victory.  It was a lot of fun to watch them play so well.  Preserving the perfect season, winning the Mountain West Conference championship and crushing the Y made for a great evening!
