. . . for two reasons.  One is that my presidential candidate of choice was elected.  I think we have much to look forward to with Barack Obama in the White House.  He will certainly be dealing with some difficult constraints in many areas.  But I have a high level of confidence in his intelligence, judgment and termperament. 

The second reason is that the election concludes my own campaign for the House of Representatives in the Utah state legislature.  I hope to make more time for work and blogging!  At least until the 45 day legislative session begins in late January.
